Arriving by I-64 West from Williamsburg:
Take Exit 190 for 5th Street/Downtown/Coliseum
Turn left onto E. Marshall St.
Turn left onto 11th St.
Turn right onto E. Leigh St.
Turn right onto 12th St.
Turn left into the Patient & Visitor Parking Deck

Arriving by I-64 East from Charlottesville:
Follow I-64 East and merge with I-95 South
Take I-95 South to Exit 74C for W. Broad St.
Turn right onto 11th St.
Turn right onto E. Leigh St.
Turn right onto 12th St.
Turn left into the Patient & Visitor Parking Deck

Arriving by I-95 North from Petersburg:
Take Exit 74C for W. Broad St.
Turn right onto 11th St.

Follow U.S. Route 60 which merges with 9th St.

Parking

Valet parking is available Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. (cars can be retrieved until 7 p.m.), at the main entrances of the Gateway Building, Ambulatory Care Center, Children’s Pavilion and North Hospital. The cost is $5.00 for the service. The VCU Medical Center’s Patient and Visitor Parking Deck, located at 12th and Leigh streets, is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, (see map below).

Reduced parking rates for self-parked cars in the Patient and Visitor Parking Deck ($2.00 per visit) are available for patients and visitors who obtain a parking validation at the Information Desks located in the Gateway Building, Ambulatory Care Center, Nelson Clinic and North Hospital.  A week of unlimited self parking is $5, passes for purchase at the Cashier’s office in Main Hospital, 1st Floor (behind Oasis coffee shop).  There is a $10.00 charge for lost parking tickets. There is no charge for parking from Friday at 11 p.m. through Monday at 7 a.m.
